2 hour session at the spit

Hadn’t surfed Birch Bay in a while but this morning the conditions aligned nicely and first started out way out on the flats with the incoming tide. Had some long rides on small 1-2 foot waves on the SUP.

Then as the tide came in the flats died out but Seaman Spit started working so moved out to the point and had a ton of rides on small 1-2 foot waves with a good shape.

Super sunny day 73 degrees and surfed in shorts and a t-shirt 🙂 As always, it’s not Hawaii, but can’t pass up a chance to surf waves in NW Washington.
